Chopta Valley and Muguthang
Chopta Valley (Tsopta Valley) at an elevation of 13,200 feet (4,023 meters) is a relatively unexplored destination in Sikkim. It is about half an hour away from Thangu. This spectacularly scenic valley where one gets up close and personal with a glacial mountain wall towards the western side is en route to the trek east towards Muguthang which is at an altitude of 15,500 feet (4,724 meters).
